Japan Medical Device Corporation (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: OKANO Takafumi, hereinafter referred to as “JMD”) has been participating as a member of “Overcoming the Heart Failure Pandemic by Innovative Integration of Multi-Scale Heart Simulator and Large-Scale Clinical Data,” one of the programs to accelerate the achievement of the MEXT supercomputer “Fugaku” since April 1 this year.
We are pleased to announce that the name of JMD has been officially listed on the website of UT-Heart Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “UT-Heart Research Institute”), the representative institution of this research, and two engineers (CHIBA Shuichi and MINAMI Kazuo) have been registered as principal researchers.

In this research, our two engineers are mainly in charge of tuning to speed up the program. We will work together with UT-Heart Research Institute and other partner institutions to make this research a success.
Through this research, we will contribute to the early detection and treatment of heart failure patients and contribute to the improvement of the QOL (quality of life) of all humankind.
