Japan Medical Device Corporation (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative Director: CHIBA Shuichi, hereinafter referred to as “JMD”) has registered as a medical device manufacturer (registration number: 14BZ200408) for the purpose of manufacturing a new programmed medical device using the heart simulator.
As a result, JMD has been able to manufacture programmed medical devices in Japan since September 22, 2023.
JMD has been putting to practical use the technology that the University of Tokyo has been developing on supercomputers for more than 20 years. We have taken a step forward toward the realization of the world of “digital medicine” that JMD is aiming for.
In the future, we aim to commercialize heart simulation services together with our business partners and partner companies.
